Word Class helps manage and accurately translate your documentation into more than 60 target languages, including marketing or technical brochures, leaflets, catalogues, product data sheets, user, installation, start-up, maintenance and safety manuals, tender documents, patents, on-site training materials and more.

We believe that technical domain expertise, precise terminology and successful adapting content to local environments are the three main qualities of a successful technical translation. Our native technical translators and subject matter experts have a high level of business expertise. They rely on our ISO 9001 certified multilingual terminology management solutions to help increase the overall quality and consistency of your documentation.

We also combine Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tools with our proven document conversion expertise to enable you to:

  • Reduce costs
  • Seamlessly manage updates to your documentation
  • Migrate your assets to structured documentation formats such as DITA XML
  • Reduce publication deadlines

To further reduce publication turnaround time, Word Class offers end-to-end desktop publishing capacity. In the pre-production phase of any project, we will help you better design and structure your documents for the translation process. During post-production, we will format your documentation and ensure a uniform multilingual layout with translated materials that are print-ready. Our multilingual publishing capacity is compatible with all Mac and PC publishing formats: InDesign, Microsoft Word, XML, Illustrator, FrameMaker, QuarkXPress, Interleaf and Photoshop. In addition, we support most applications used for formatting and editing graphics and will help localize your images, illustrations or screenshots using Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Freehand or other graphic design software.

Is Machine Translation (MT) an alternative for translating technical content when human translation is not possible due to volume, time or budget constraints? Word Class will help you explore the answer to this question and build a business case based on your project scope (quality requirements, type of content, budget, audience, schedule, format, volumes, and language pairs) and a quality assessment of MT output samples. If we determine that an MT project is feasible, we will agree on final quality expectations (functional output or equal to human translation) to prepare for post-editing (light or equal to publishable quality).

Finally, our localization platform is able to consistently adapt to, or integrate with, your CMS, providing a seamless, end-to-end localization and publishing platform. If you would like to know more about our capacity, please consult the Platform section of this website.
